Homer Thrift is a secondhand store that serves the southern Kenai Peninsula. Proceeds from your donations directly support the work of South Peninsula Haven House, including the Domestic Violence shelter, prevention education in the community and in schools, subsidies for nutritious food at local childcare providers, and programs that support housing stability in difficult times. Homer Thrift’s Empowerment Program provides work experience to individuals who are re-entering the workforce and want to build employability skills and gain independence. Community partners are welcome to submit requests for items to help meet specific needs, we are always happy to support other local non-profits!
