The Whirling Rainbow Foundation is a local Homer and international 501c3 non-profit educational organization promoting personal and community wellness, unity, peace and earth sustainability through cultural, healing, visionary and living arts. The Whirling Rainbow Healing Center is located at 59982 Ohlson Mountain Rd in Homer and is home to the Grandmother Drum, the world’s largest crystal inlaid healing drum of its kind that has toured in 20 countries promoting peace through music. We are a multicultural interfaith organization that shares ancient wisdom teachings and practices from the world’s indigenous peoples and faith traditions that provide a hollistic approach to healing and living from the heart and with mindfulness, and lasting peace. We offer extensive wellness programs including private and group counseling, healing modalities ( sound healing, drumming, Reiki, Bowen Technique, Raindrop Technique, energybodywork, shamanic healing techniques, art and music therapies), meditation classes, online spiritual courses, cultural ceremonies, world peace concerts, shamanic workshops and international trainings. We offer regular programs for children and youth and many of our classes and events are free to children under 16.
