Provides two services for area non-profits.
1. The management of Endowment Funds. Any local non-profit may open a fund with a $10,000 minimum which will be invested in perpetuity for the organization with the earnings distributed to the organization annually. The Fund may be established by a donor for the benefit of the organization as well.
2. Offers grants and programs for area not-for-profit organizations centered in the southern Kenai Peninsula. Grants are made from the earnings on The Homer Foundation’s unrestricted and other funds. There is no grant deadline for these funds. They also administer various Scholarships and pass – through grants including the annual City of Homer grants program.
