The R.E.C. Room has re opened for the summer!
We are here M-T from 2-6:30 PM (Summer Hours)
Sierra, our R.E.C. Room Coordinator and Either Liz, our Youth Program Manager, or Tyler, our Peer Education Coordinator, will be present and running programming with Community Mentors.
When you arrive come on downstairs and wait at the door to be asked a few COVID-19 screening questions.

We are following public health recommendations for decreasing the spread of Covid-19. We respectfully ask that you wash or sanitize your hands when you come inside, respect physical distance and wear a mask. We can provide a mask if you don’t have one.

The R.E.C Room is the only youth resource center in Homer! Provides supports, activities and connection for teens and their families.
The R.E.C Room is the youth Resource and Enrichment Co-op. It is a safe space where youth ages 12-18 years old can meet friends, hang out and access information about resources, activities and programs available for youth in the community. There is wi-fi, xbox on a big screen, a VR headset, movies, games, guitars, free snacks, computers with games and internet, art and craft supplies, a lending library and always an adult and teen staff member available for support. The Homer Peer Education team functions out of the R.E.C. Room. Open year-round. Check out Rec Room on Facebook to learn more and get involved.
